Virtue Cider commissioned us to help commemorate the annual release of their Mitten Cider. The name of the cider is a nod to the onset of the colder months, as well as the state of Michigan where the apples were grown. We created an illustration of a couple enjoying the Michigan winter, ice skating outside on an apple shaped pond. The hand-lettered type was meant to mimic the feeling of the crisp wind.
After we completed the commemorative poster, Virtue Cider also licensed our illustration for use as a company-wide holiday greeting card.
