ARTCRANK's mission is to make art as accessible as bikes are and use creativity to change the way people think about cycling. It was originally conceived as a series of pop-up art shows. We were asked to create an edition of screen prints for their Detroit show at Shinola's flagship store. "The Last Days of Summer" was meant to recall the feelings of childhood freedom and autonomy that a bike symbolized.
Over the years, we have continued to make bike-inspired screen printed posters for ARTCRANK, as they have grown their online presence in addition to curating events.
