This card's faded colors and newspaper-like halftone dots are a throwback to simpler times and old friendships.

The image is sourced from the historical archives of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Leo Halter preserved a collection of images that show what it was like for him to be stationed in Alaska during WWII.
